What we collect

When you call us, send a request form, use our website chat, or text us, we collect the information you give us: your name, phone number, email address, the property address where the damage is, what happened, and any photos or documents you choose to send. If a claim is involved and you share it, we also keep your insurer, claim number and adjuster contact so we can document the loss.

Our website may use standard analytics to understand which pages are visited. We do not sell personal information.

How we use it

• To respond to your request, schedule a free estimate and perform the work.
• To document the loss with photos, moisture readings and scope so you can use it with your insurer.
• To send scheduling, reminder and follow-up messages you have agreed to receive.
• To keep records required for contracts, warranties and accounting.

Text messaging (SMS)

Text messaging (SMS). If you opt in by checking the SMS box on one of our forms, by confirming in our website chat, or by replying to a text from us, Onyx Restoration & Recovery LLC will send you text messages about your request, including scheduling and reminders for your free estimate, follow-up about an open request, and, after a completed job, a single request to leave a review. Message frequency varies and is typically 1 to 5 messages per request. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP, and get help by replying HELP or calling 267-353-7953. We record the date, time, and source of your consent.

We do not share your mobile number or SMS consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information collected for SMS is used only to deliver the messages described above through our messaging service provider, which processes it on our behalf.

If you call our business number and we cannot answer, we may send you one text message to acknowledge your call and offer a callback. You will not receive further messages unless you reply or opt in.

Who we share it with

Service providers that run our phone, messaging, scheduling, email and website systems, only to the extent needed to deliver those services. Your insurer or adjuster, only when you ask us to send documentation. Authorities when the law requires it. Nobody else.

How long we keep it

Job records, photos and documentation are kept for as long as needed for warranties, insurance and tax purposes. Contact information from requests that do not become jobs is kept for a reasonable period so we can follow up, then removed.

Your choices
